According to Mark Gurman, the next-generation iPad Pro will arrive within “a matter of hours” with Apple’s new M2 CPU. This new model will be the first since May last year and will reportedly provide a 20% speed increase over the M1 model. Gurman stated in his newsletter that Apple will launch new Macs and an iPad dock with integrated speaker in 2023.
The iPad Pro models with 12.9-inch and 11-inch displays will retain the same form factors as current models. Although the performance increase isn’t significant (20%), it is still substantial. The M2 chips will bring greater efficiency to the iPad Pro. Gurman stated that Apple will soon launch an entry-level iPad along with its new high-end models. According to reports, it will have a USB C port instead of a Lightning port (in accordance with upcoming European regulations), 5G support, and an A14 Bionic chip rather than an M-series.
Apple could announce next year a docking accessory for iPads that includes a speaker. It is possible to attach an iPad to this accessory and have a complete home hub/smart speaker experience. It looks similar to the Pixel charging dock that Google announced would be available with the Pixel Tablet.

Apple will launch new iPads later this year, along with the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. These models will be equipped with the M2 Max and M2 Pro versions of the M2 chips. In the near future, a Mac Mini will be available with an M2 processor.
Apple is currently working on the next generation Apple TV. It will be powered by an A14 chip, and have 4GB RAM. This is a substantial upgrade over the A12 model. Although Gurman is accurate in these matters, Apple can change its mind about launch dates and products. So take the rumors with a grain of salt until they are officially announced.
